Which Fin Fits My Red Paddle Co SUP?

Red Paddle Co is one of the most recognized inflatable SUP brands in Europe, and the good news is that most of their range — Whip, Sport, Race, Explorer and Voyager — uses a standard US Box fin, the industry's most widely supported system. That means a US Box replacement fin from Eisbach Riders will fit these boards correctly. There are two exceptions worth knowing before you buy. The Ride series (9'8, 10'6, 10'8) uses Red Paddle's own flexible, molded iFin — it's built into the board and can't be swapped for an aftermarket fin. And the Compact range runs a dual quick-lock twin-fin setup rather than a single US Box fin. Check your exact model below before ordering, especially if you own a Ride or Compact board.

Which Fin System Does Your Board Use?

Not Sure Which Model You Have?

  • The model name is usually printed on the rail or near the tail.
  • Board length in feet is usually printed on the nose or deck.
  • Production year is sometimes printed near the fin box on newer boards.
  • The fin-box shape tells you the system: a raised box with a screw is US Box, a soft molded fin is Fixed/iFin, and side-by-side clip slots are Quick-Lock.

The Sport range is Red Paddle Co's best-selling all-round touring line and has used a single US Box fin since it launched. Fin box dimensions are consistent across all three lengths and model years, so fit doesn't change if you're replacing a fin on an older board. Our Touring Fin 9″ is sized for tracking and stability on lakes and flat water, which is what most Sport owners paddle.

The Voyager is Red Paddle Co's dedicated touring board and runs a twin US Box setup — two fins rather than one. It's a newer addition to the lineup, so double-check the fin-box length against your specific year before ordering if your board is a 2024 model or earlier. Our Touring Fin 9″ fits either position and is built for distance paddling.

Does every Red Paddle Co board use a US Box fin?
No. Most of the range does — Whip, Sport, Race, Explorer and Voyager all use US Box — but the Ride series uses a fixed, molded iFin that can't be replaced, and the Compact series uses quick-lock twin fins instead.
Can I replace the fin on a Red Paddle Ride?
No. The Ride series uses Red Paddle's own iFin — a flexible fin that's molded directly into the board rather than screwed into a removable box. There's no aftermarket replacement for this system.
What fin does the Red Paddle Voyager use?
The Voyager runs a twin US Box setup — two US Box fins rather than one. Any US Box replacement fin will fit either position; just make sure the length is appropriate for a touring board.
