Which Fin Fits My Decathlon Itiwit SUP?

Itiwit is Decathlon's own SUP brand and one of the most common entry-level inflatable boards in Europe — which also means it's one of the boards people most often struggle to find the right fin for. Most of the range, including the standard X100, the Compact/Super Light and the Tandem, uses Itiwit's own pin-style slide-in fin, not a US Box. The Race R500 and Touring X500, however, use a standard US Box fin instead. We're honest about this: we don't currently stock a slide-in replacement fin, so if your board uses that system we'll tell you rather than sell you something that won't fit. Which Fin System Does Your Board Use?

Not Sure Which Model You Have?

  • The model name is usually printed on the rail or near the tail.
  • Board length in feet is usually printed on the nose or deck.
  • Production year is sometimes printed near the fin box on newer boards.
  • The fin-box shape tells you the system: a raised box with a screw is US Box, a soft molded fin is Fixed/iFin, and side-by-side clip slots are Quick-Lock.

The Race R500 is one of only two Itiwit boards we track that breaks from the brand's usual slide-in fin — it uses a standard US Box fin instead. Since it's a performance-oriented board, our Touring Fin 9″ — built for straighter tracking — is the fin we'd recommend.

The Touring X500 is the other Itiwit exception — a US Box fin rather than Itiwit's usual slide-in system. If your board is the X500 rather than the standard X100 range, this is the system you have. Our Touring Fin 9″ suits the distance paddling this board is built for.

Frequently asked questions

Are Decathlon Itiwit SUP fins universal?
No, and this is a common mix-up. Most Itiwit boards — the standard X100, Compact/Super Light and Tandem — use Itiwit's own pin-style slide-in fin, not a universal US Box. Only the Race R500 and Touring X500 use US Box.
Does Eisbach Riders sell a fin for the Itiwit X100?
Not currently. The X100 uses Itiwit's proprietary slide-in system, which we don't stock a replacement for yet. Let us know your email on the finder below and we'll notify you if that changes.
What fin does the Itiwit Touring X500 use?
The Touring X500 is one of the exceptions in the Itiwit range — it uses a standard US Box fin rather than the slide-in system found on most other Itiwit boards.
