Which Fin Fits My Fanatic SUP?

Fanatic has been a fixture in European stand up paddling for years, and more recently some newer product lines have shifted to the Duotone brand — but the fin hardware hasn't changed. Every Fanatic inflatable SUP we track — Ray Air, Fly Air, Falcon Air, Stubby Air and Diamond Air — uses a standard US Box fin. That means a US Box replacement fin from Eisbach Riders fits correctly across the whole range, whether you've got the compact Stubby Air, a Fly Air for all-round paddling, or a Ray Air built for longer tours. Which Fin System Does Your Board Use?

Not Sure Which Model You Have?

  • The model name is usually printed on the rail or near the tail.
  • Board length in feet is usually printed on the nose or deck.
  • Production year is sometimes printed near the fin box on newer boards.
  • The fin-box shape tells you the system: a raised box with a screw is US Box, a soft molded fin is Fixed/iFin, and side-by-side clip slots are Quick-Lock.

Fly Air is Fanatic's all-round inflatable line and has run a single US Box fin across every length. Fin box position is consistent across model years — including boards now labeled Duotone — so fitment doesn't change if you're replacing a fin on an older board. Our Classic Fin 9″ is a manoeuvrable, all-round shape that suits how most Fly Air owners paddle.

Ray Air is Fanatic's touring-oriented board, built for longer distances than the Fly Air. It uses the same US Box fin as the rest of the range, so any correctly sized replacement fits. Our Touring Fin 9″ is shaped for straighter tracking, which is what most Ray Air owners are paddling for.

Frequently asked questions

Is Fanatic the same as Duotone for SUP fins?
Fanatic's newer product lines are branded under Duotone, but the fin box hardware is unchanged — both use the same US Box system, so the same replacement fins fit.
What fin box does the Fanatic Ray Air use?
US Box — the same system used across the whole Fanatic inflatable range, from the compact Stubby Air to the touring-focused Ray Air.
Do Fanatic Diamond Air and Fly Air use the same fin?
They use the same US Box system, but the ideal fin size differs: the Diamond Air is a shorter all-round board, while the Fly Air comes in longer lengths better suited to a touring fin.
